According to L'Equipe, 42-year-old Enmers Fae will not renew his contract and will no longer coach the Ivory Coast national team.

The 42-year-old coach, who has been in charge of the Ivory Coast national team since February 2024, will not renew his contract with the team as it expires this Friday.
Born in Nantes, Fae is about to embark on a new chapter, seeking new projects. At the World Cup, Ivory Coast advanced from the group stage for the first time in its history, but was eliminated in the round of 16 after losing 1-2 to Norway. This also marked Ivory Coast's return to the World Cup after 12 years.
At the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast was eliminated by Egypt in the quarterfinals. Despite a respectable performance and a rejuvenated squad, Fae will not continue to manage the Ivory Coast team.
